THE
GREAT SOUTH-WEST WALK
|
|
Rick
Bolch and Darcy Mawson will tell you about this 250 km walk in Victoria, Australia.
It is a circuit from Portland,
taking in bushland, along the river and beach and
around three headlands. It is very flat by our standards, with plenty of
wildlife to see.

Roger Hall, New Zealand’s most popular
playwright, proves that Il Riso fa Buon Sangue
- laughter is good for the heart – and gives the great Overseas
Experience the boot as he follows the trials and tribulations of two Kiwi
couples in Italy.
Recent retirees Alison and Adrian are taking the
trip of a lifetime, but find unexpected (and unwanted) company along for the
ride in the form of Harry and his new wife Judy. As the quartet navigate the
big OE for the fifty-plus, their holiday may end up more Dante than al
dente.
