This picture was taken from
Porter Mt. (Rank #38 at 4059 ft. above sea level). There are great views of Algonquin Peak (right corner with rocky peak. It's rank is #2 at 5114 ft. above sea level). Wright Peak (Ranked #16 at 4580 ft. above sea level) is to the right in front of Algonquin Peak. Slightly off center to the left is Mt. Colden (Ranked # 11 at 4714 ft. above sea level). It's the cone shaped one. Directly in front of Mt. Colden is Phelps Mt. (Ranked #32 at 4161 ft. above sea level). It's the light green one!

The above two photos were shot from the summit of
Saddleback Mt. (Ranked #17 at 4515 ft. above sea level). Left: Is a full view of the north side of Mt. Marcy (Ranked #1 at 5344 ft. above sea level). Right: Is a view of Basin Mt. (Ranked #9 at 4827 ft. above sea level) in the foreground and Mt. Marcy in the background. Lower center: Is a view from Giant Mt. (Ranked #12 at 4627 ft. above sea level) of Mt. Marcy rear center, Gothics (Ranked #10 at 4736 ft. above sea level) , Armstrong Mt. (Ranked #22 at 4400 ft. above sea level), Upper Wolfjaw (Ranked #29 at 4185 ft. above sea level), and Sawteeth (Ranked #35 at 4100 ft. above sea level). This was one of the most interesting hikes that I have been on due to the fact that at the start of the day (10/12/98) it was raining and very cloudy. Once I began to reach the summit of Giant Mt. This is only one of the views that I saw!Click Here for
