Where Are We?
We meet every Friday night at Avenue St. Andrews United Reformed Church, Southampton, which is on the Avenue opposite Northlands Road. (for more information please e-mail us, look at the top of the page.)
Ages 6 - 8 Anchor boys
Ages 8 - 11 Junior section
Ages 11 - 18 Company section
About the BB
Our Company section is involved in sports such as battalion football on a Saturday. Also on a Friday night we play football, Pool, table tennis, etc.
The company is involved in many activities, ranging from sport competitions to camping expeditions.
During the summer months the company plays sports, such as cricket and football on Southampton common.
Awards in the BB
The Anchor boys meet from 6.00 - 7.00. They get involved in many activities and games
The Junior section meet from 6.00 - 7.45. They work towards badges in the aim to finally gain their Gold award before moving into the Company section.
The Company Section Meet from 7.30pm - 10.00pm on a Friday night. They also work towards badges, these include two target badges, grade 1, 2 and 3 in Adventure, Leadership, Community, Physical and Interests.
If a boy gains all the badges he may then go on to gain his President's badge, which is the second highest badge in the Boys' Brigade, after gaining this he can work to get the Queen's Badge which is the highest badge in the boys brigade.
