History:
Zorcos IV was named by interplanetary humanoid explorers called Rusovians at 254 AD when humans were still in the dark ages. The planet's name literally means "squirrel" IV, named because of the presence of the squirrel like inhabitants known as Eesk-Nret. The name the planet was originally given by the Eesk-Nret is impossible to pronounce by humans and humanoid aliens, which is why the Rusovians gave it a pronounceable name. The intelligent rodent inhabitants have always been a peaceful race, welcoming any alien visitors who mean them no harm. However, they do have enemies. A hunter race known as the Sufelians have been hunting the Eesk-Nret, but they have been protected by the friendly Rusovians. The Rusovians have supplied the Eesk-Nret with technology so they can easily fight the Sufelians. The Eesk-Nret are very crafty, and can easily work any spacecraft they can get a hold of.

The first human contact with the Eesk-Nret will begin when the Eesk-Nret start assimilating (converting) all who hate squirrels. Peaceful diplomatic relations will only be made with squirrel lovers.


Eesk-Nret Culture:
It is unknown why the females, called Eesk are so much larger than the males, called Nret. However, they have always been a successful culture. The males outnumber the females two to one, and therefore, each female usually has two husbands.

The Eesk-Nret have developed advanced technology shortly after their first contact with the Rusovians. Two thousand years later, when humans discovered the Eesk-Nret, the humans abandoned their belief of evolution and everybody started believing in Christianity, because they realized that the Eesk-Nret religion was very similar to Christianity.


Government:
Zorcos IV is always ruled by a matriarchy. Only females rule the planet, and males can be rulers of small nations. Every three Zorcosian years, which is about 3.5 earth years, a new queen is chosen, usually a relative of the last queen. Every matriarch has more husbands than the average female. Most males are her servants, but they are never treated as slaves. The only slaves that the Eesk-Nret use are earth people who hate and/or hunt squirrels.


Language:
The Eesk-Nret language is composed of guttural churrings, chatterings, whistles, and clicks. There are pronounceable vowels and consonants, but these are not as common as their musical chatter. The tail also serves as a communication appendage. This shows that the language is much like the subvocal communications of earth squirrels. Sometimes the Eesk-Nret like to speak their language in front of squirrel haters to annoy or confuse them.
