Why do we hunt?

Well, obviously, the dog work is very important.

The food is good.

It's clean family fun.

There's no better reason to stage an annual reunion with friends and family.

Sometimes they dress funny.

The maples on the pond in the cedar swamp turn at just the right time...

That's before the tamaracks, but they never peak at the same time, so their colors don't have to compete.

There are memories of the miracle shot with your grandfather's shotgun.

Did I mention the food?

The comaraderie of long-time friends add exponentially to the mix.

And the weather is usually perfect.

Why do you hunt?
