HELL BELOW CAVE
Hell Below Cave is located in Lincoln National Forest. There has been much restoration in the cave and a gate has been placed on the entrance to protect it. The cave has 3 vertical rope pitches to get to the main part of the cave. They are 20 feet, 60 feet, and 30 feet in descending order. This cave is different from the others because it lacks the giant free-standing formations that the other caves have. However, it has some of the most delicate formations to be found in all these caves. There are several small pools in the cave, and it also has a 300-foot pit in the floor of the main passage.ENJOY THE PHOTOS!
