Clearwater Lake
                                                A Trout Fisherman's Paradise
This was a wonderful experience in our trip but I suggest you have better than average camping skills, and know when to travel in your canoe and when to wait.  The winds on the lake can be very powerful and the water is snappy cold.  The rangers affectionately refer to the sudden, strong wind as "A Caribou Wind".  We experienced a mild one that sent our dinner airborne!  Please visit the Wells Gray Park Information Page that is listed below.  There you will find the information to help you get all the details you need.

                                                      No Caribou Wind Today!
Clearwater Lake becomes the Clearwater River at a waterfall!  Note the Rainbow!
