The Return to Calgary     This was a day of driving.  We stopped everyso often to take pictures.   we were able to finish up in the little town of Canmore, just outside of Calgary.  View Map.  I had been there once before, (Alaska to Pa. trip) and wanted to be sure my brothers experienced this scenic town before returning home.   View Map.  This small town has a welcoming sign that also advises that pedestrians and cycliests have the right of way at all times.  I regret not having potographed it.  If a pedestrian so much as made a move to step onto the street, traffic would stop in all directions!  In Canmore, we we were able to have dinner (you have to try the French Fries and gravy). We also did our laundry before the short drive to Calgary and our motel.  We packed the bikes at the motel and the next morning, before going to the airport, we read our first newspaper since arriving.  What a shocking greeting back to reality!  See shocking reality below.
