The Nesbit Family Homestead |
Welcome to our homestead. As you can see, we are in the
building process. Unfortunately, we are building without any blueprints. That
means I don't have the faintest idea what it will look like when it is
completed. In fact, it probably never will be completed. The basic idea is
to have a room for each of our different activities. We hope you find
something of interest to you.
Our favorite camping place is
Rock Creek Valley in the Eastern Sierra Nevada
Mountains. We were first introduced to the area in about 1980. Nobody was
catching any fish at June Lake, so our friends took us to Rock Creek Lake
and we have been going there ever since.
In our
opinion, Yosemite is one of the most beautiful places on the face of the earth. Mother
Nature at her best! You have got to see this place when the snow melts.
The view from Glacier Point is undescribable. You can see five or six
waterfalls while standing in one spot, with the valley floor 3,000 feet below you.
Switzerland is our favorite European travel destination.
On a train ride through Switzerland you will see more lakes, rivers, quaint
towns and snow capped mountain peaks than your camera has film to record.

Please remember to be quiet while in the library, we wouldn't want to disturb
our ancestors. Most of them are in a deep sleep.
