Lighting the fire is the true test of whether a fire is laid correctly.

The scouts relax during a break. The water was refreshing and cool. The sand was warm (and fun to wear).

The scouts demonstrate a safety chain in the waves.

We had our flag ceremony before we cooked lunch over our cooking fire. Here, everybody participates in raising the flag.
