Here's proof, his first point. 5 months old, hardly any wind, and he's pointing on scent. He has had virtually no check-cord work yet, this is just a light run on a quail to see if he has a nose. OK, Nose, check. Pointing ability, check. And, soft mouthed retrieves, too, he brought the bird back very much alive.
