St. Michael's Head of the River.
Racing went very well for the Jes in this year's St. Michaels' Head.
The men entered an under-18 eight and two coxed fours, an under-16
coxed four and quad and a novice and under-18 single scull. The
women entered an octuple(8x+), under-16 coxless quad and coxed four.
The day was a great success and the women won the under-16 coxless quads.

Table quiz held in Sacre Coeur Hotel, in aid of club.

Coupe de la Jeunesse held in Inniscarra, Co. Cork.
Three Jes oarsmen represented Ireland at the Coupe this year. They
were Padraig Bracken, Marc Stephens and Dominic Burke. Padraig won four
medals in the eights and fours events.
24th-25th July.
Home Internationals held in Inniscarra, Co. Cork.
Two Jes oarsmen, Marc Stephens and Dominic Burke, were selected to row the
coxless pair for Ireland. They finished third.
16th-18th July.
Irish National Rowing Championships held in Inniscarra,
Co. Cork.
Jes had a great weekend with
Marc Stephens and Padraig Bracken winning the Mens Junior 18 2- Championship
and good results in eleven other events.
6th July.
This site officially went on-line and registered with all major search
engines.
20th June, Galway Regatta.
Galway Regatta, this year, was good for both mens and womens sides
of the Jes Rowing Club. The men won, among other things, the prestigious
Anderson Cup in the MJ18 8+'s against St. Michael's BC and local
rivals bish. The women won the WJ18 2x event. The club as a whole was
Best Club Overall at the Regatta.
19th June, Athlone Regatta.
The Jes were Second Best Club at the regatta, to Neptune.
6th June, Carlow Regatta.
23rd May, Fermoy Regatta.
22nd May, Cork Regatta.
17th April, Trinity Regatta.
12th April, Commercial Regatta.
11th April, Neptune Regatta.
