St. Michael's Head of the River went very well for the Jes this year with the club entering ten crews. These included one eight, four fours, two quads, an octuple, and two singles. The women won the Junior 16 coxless quads event.
Coupe de la Jeunesse The coupe was held in Ireland this year and three jes oarsmen earned positions on crews. Marc Stephens and Dominic Burke raced in the pairs and Padraig Bracken won four gold medals in the eights and fours.
Home Internationals Two Jes oarsmen raced in the homes. Dominic Burke and Marc Stephens raced the coxless pairs and came third to England and Wales.
Irish National Rowing Championships The Jes entered twelve events at this regatta. The highlight of the weekend was the winning of the Mens Junior 18 8+'s Championship. This was the top result of a very good weekend for the mens section of the club. The womens results were topped with a fifth in the junior pairs and good results in non-championship races.
Galway Regatta. The Jes were Best Club Overall at Galway Regatta. The men won, among other things, the prestigious Anderson Cup in the MJ18 8+'s against St. Michael's BC (1 length) and local rivals bish (3 lengths). The women won the WJ18 2x event.
Athlone Regatta. The Jes were second best club at the regatta, to Neptune. With wins in many events, and excellent results at all levels.
