
The Maumee Scout Reservation has been open since 1972 for long term summer camp.
It consists of 605 acres in the northwest corner of Jackson County in the middle of the Hoosier National Forest. The camp has a 56 acre lake that on a clear day you can see the bottom. There are 11 campsites, and 2 cabins that can be used year round. The camp is capable of supporting 200 campers a week.
The camp is also used for many Cub Scout activities like Mom & Me, Dad & Lad, and Webelos weekend camping.
