Zirb and I began this crazy little jaunt down at the Little Three Creeks trailhead. We made it up to the 500' drop of the Tam McArthur Rim with litte problems, with the exception of getting some very weird stares from people coming down. This was our real first backcountry skiing event. The year before I had hiked the trail as far as I could go and saw how great it would be to set a few figure 8's down the slopes. So all I had to do was convince someone else to go with me. Who better than my brother-in-law, my skiing buddy. I also was able to bring my dad along as we were in central Oregon on family vacation. We followed the trail until it ended, had lunch and based on the poor weather, we decided to ski the slope ahead of us. To see the photo's, follow the link below.
