I'm well over 40, divorced, and live in the Washington DC area. In my perfect world, I'd own a few acres of woods on a mountaintop overlooking the ocean, and live in a little cabin at the end of a gravel road. But, this is reality, and I need to make a living, so I settle for a townhouse and an SUV , and as much traveling as I can afford.
