Patti, (on the right) has been my friend for longer than I can remember. She's the one who puts me back together when I'm broken. She's been there for me always, through failed relationships, job difficulties, and all my other personal disasters. I can't think of a major life event that she's missed. I'm very lucky to have her - she's even better than a sister, because she picked me to be in her family - I wasn't born into it. Rick, the big guy, fixes everything Patti can't. He's the one who works on my computers, my house, my car. He also gives me a male perspective on life - and a reality check on occasion.

Sharon is another of the best people I know. Even with her own problems - new community, house,and job as well as a husband and child to look after - she still manages to find time for me. It's tough to stay close long distance, but she's managed it somehow - now, if she could only find a way to send cyber-queso :). You see, she's also one of the great cooks of all time.
