Bike tour to Köthener See 1994

From Berlin to Königs Wusterhausen we went with the S-Bahn, there we took the regional train to Halbe. We had to change Junior's diapers on the floor of the train station. From the train station to the Youth Hostel "Köthener See" where we could put our tent up Junior slept the whole way. Once in the YH he helped dad put the tent up. Once the job done Papa and Junior took a shower together, Junior didn't like it very much.

The night was something new for Junior, he slept for the very first time in a tent. He let no one sleep. After the breakfast we wanted to cycle to Märkisch Buchholz, but Junior cried so loud we had to give up. He didn't want to go. We went to the beach instead. And went for a walk around the place.

Something we ate last night was not good for Junior. He woke us up with a lot of crying and he vomited his sleeping bag, that of mum and he left a terrible smell in the tent. The morning didn't look quite nice But it didn't stop Junior of going to the dock and running all around the premises with mama or papa running behind him.
At about 10:00 some friends came to pick us up to go to their holiday house near Märkisches Buchholz. We were all on bicycles and it was quite a fun to be a big group. Junior slept the whole way. There we had a grill party and a nice time all together. On our way back Junior slept again all the way.
Upon arrival in the YH we put on our bathing suits and went to the beach. It was really nice.

Junior had again a bad night. He woke us up several times in the night. At about 6:30 we were all up with the idea of get on the way back to Berlin, but mama said that it was such a nice day it would be a oity to leave. So Papa went to the reception and paid for two more nights.
We went to the beach and for a walk. A school group arrived early in the afternoon, and at dinner time a group of elder cyclers and rowers. Between the old people one spoke sapnish and that was the chance for mama. He had enough time for a chat with her. Otherwise she would have no other people other than us to speak to, whereas dad speaks with everyone. I must say mama has difficulties to learn german.

Junior slept better. Nevertheless, he woke us up at midnight and at 3:00AM. After breakfast we went for a walk and we saw some horses and other farm animals. After a short nap we went to the beach. In the afternoon Junior had a lot of time to play with the school children.
Before dinner Mama and papa packed everything so as to be ready for an early departure tomorrow.
