Everyone concerned had an excellent time. Special recognition is due to Tristan for the outstanding job he did as SPL, and to all the patrols for finishing the course and getting their ribbons on Saturday. Especially good were the Invisible Stalkers, who came in 2nd Place overall in their category, Young Patrols who took the OLDER PATROL route on the events!
I spoke with LTC Knie, our Chartering Organization Chairman and Representative. He signed off on the Rechartering packet, and will attempt to help us in several ways:
- Making photocopying equipment available for troop needs.
- Evaluating hand receipting computer equipment to the troop that V Corps, STB might otherwise turn in.
- Direct interested soldiers with teaching skills towards our troop.

21-24 May 99 - Intercamp at Sennelager, Germany (British Run) I am paying for 20 Scouts and 7 adults, we currently have 17 Scouts and 5 Adults that I can confirm are attending. It is highly unlikely that we will get extra spaces. I will be “saving” any spaces remaining after the next meeting for new Scouts joining after that date.
12-19 Jun 99 - Boy Scout Woodbadge. Any adult wishing to attend, please speak to me, I have DCG, USAREUR memorandums supporting Permissive TDY for Scouting Events and will support troop funds paying the $150 fee if you will be staying in Europe past the summer.
