Dear Race Promoter:

I am pleased to learn that you are interested in bidding on the USACK Marathon Team Trails. The bid package I have prepared is lengthy, and to save postage, I am sending it electronically. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions and I would be happy to address them.

The race should be held in May, June or no later than the first weeks in July. This is the required time frame to allow ample time to prepare for the Worlds Championships that will be held in Stockton, England in late August. Because several paddlers have begun to inquire, if you already have a proposed date in mind, let me know ASAP. My email is bob.spain@tpwd.state.tx.us.

I have also sent electronically, a copy of the application for 2000 Team Trails for your information. The deadline for receiving the bid package is January 10, 2000.
