The Greg Barton K-1/C-1 Junior Marathon Cup Challenge The Challenge is an opportunity for junior paddlers around the country to compete in Olympic K-1 and USCA C-1 marathon distance races. Lanier is the first of ten sites that will qualify athletes to compete in the final five-mile "Cup race" at the USCA National Championships in Lafayette, Indiana, in August 2000. We anticipate that Greg Barton will compete in this race and will present the medals to the first Barton Cup winners! It’s a great opportunity to paddle with Greg and experience marathon racing at it’s finest!
