NEWS:

We didn’t really have much of a business meeting at the December meeting so here are some tidbits of information that might (or might not) be helpful:

-The January Meeting will be Tuesday, 14 January at 7PM at Ramstein Outdoor Rec.

- Many members of the patrol still need to refresh OEC and S&T. Contact Brian or Dave Hill if you are in need of refreshing and we will TRY to schedule something.

- Anyone interested in an Ausweis card can get the blank form from Brian or Skidog. You will need a passport photo with personal info printed on the back.

- Any instructor or patroller planning on going to training weekends needs to call the OTH coordinator no later that the Monday prior to training. This allows the section coordinator to organize training groups and reserve your bed. The OTH Coordinator is Ernie Haglund, 06371-058519. The coordinator for the period of 17 Feb through 2 Mar will be Dave or Claudia Hill, 06375-6887, or Dave 480-7559, or Claudia 480-6573.

SKI CLINIC

• Date: January 25-26
• Place: Wengen Switzerland
• Instructors: Karen Jones Stephen Strebel
• Goal: Improve your own ski technique, and HAVE FUN skiing. This won’t be ski patrol drills! This will be skiing, on Piste and off, and you’ll come away with a smile. The entire group will be split into 2 groups and each group will be with Karen one day and Stephen one day.
• Participants: This is currently being aimed at Basic and Senior patrollers. If space permits, candidates will also be taken. Ski Ability: Minimum ski ability is Advanced Christies or Parallel turns.
