Report=Wide-open striper fishing. Trolled around until we found the fish, then cranked them in on jigs with every cast. Most fish were 1-2 pounds but we did get a few to 4 pounds. Fish were hanging at 25-30 feet. Trolled with 2oz. torpedo weights to get the lures down. Lots of ski/water-craft traffic but it didn't seem to bother the bass. We only fished for a few hours in the morn. and eve. (too hot in day!!) but caught and released over 50 stripers. Saw some big catfish swiming by the boat launch.
