Report=Started fishing at 6:30 and had our first trout by 7 am. Cut it open and found it was full of roe. Put the trout eggs on and caught 4 more by 9:30 and one 10 inch bass that hit a nightcrawler. (my daughter's first largemouth). Then the bite stopped. Ran out of eggs by 10 am but didn't matter, the bite had shut down for just about everybody. Cut open the rest of the trout. No roe. We then went through about a six-hour slump without even landing a fish. Had a couple of bites and lost a couple of fish but still it was real slow. Between 4:30-5pm we caught two more on P.B. and missed even more bites before they closed the lake. We ended up with 7 nice trout from 1-2 pounds. Nice day.
