Report=They stocked here today. All little ones. I did not see anything over 8 inches. Some people had limits. I only got 1 in about an hour. They didn't seem to want jigs today. Small bobber with a small piece of sinking cheese bait was what they wanted. I tried the setup with power bait but it floats and they would not take it off the top. Again, the trout were all corralled in one part of the lake, too afraid to venture away from where the anglers were casting because the comorants were stalking the outer edge. There was one guy casting a big jig at them (the comorants) to scare them away from the fishing area. It helped but the pesty birds still came up with a few trout. I have been fishing for many years and I have never seen this many comorants as I have this year. It is sad to see the hard efforts that the dfg does to stock these lakes go to waste by feeding these disgusting birds. I bet 3 days from now you will not see a single trout here, fished out by the birds. Years ago, these trout would last up to a week in this lake. Not anymore.
