Report=What a nice little lake. Got invited to fish the "Press Day", a special event for those associated with the fishing press. Things started out slow as we explored different areas of the lake. About 10:30 we anchored up with the "mob" of anglers fishing the ramp area and by 11:00 am, we had our first fish. By 2 pm we had full limits of 1-2.5 pound trout and one fat boy at about 4 pounds. Also saw a 10-pounder caught by the guy next to us. Seems whenever I go fishing, the big one always gets caught by the guy next to me, so if you want a toad, just come fish next to me.

The big trout was full of pebbles in his stomach. Maybye he was trying to get stoned? I firmly believe in your "splash and dash" theory, especially in murky water. We had several bites today just after casting out.
