Report=Rented a skiff from Davey's to see how the winter bite was in the bay. It was poor, we only got some mackerel at the end of the jetty. Nothing inside the harbor but a few bites. Our large anchovies were probably too big for most of the fish in the bay. Got to fish with some good company too. My daughter, of course, who out-fished us all again, and Chan B., a web architect from Virginia. He brought along a fly rod and was whupping that thing out there pretty darn far. The little macks were not interested in his large striper flys, however. I would like to see him hook a dorado or yellow on that thing. That would be cool. I could almost get into that.
