Report=YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! I finally got to go fishing today after an almost 2-month dry spell. I was jonesing pretty hard to wet a line and I really didn't care if I caught anything or not. I decided to go to Prado because the DFG reportedly stocked this week. I have also never been there so I wanted to give it a try. This is a nice lake. Not knowing where to go, I fished in with the crowd and did fairly well, along with everybody else. My daughter and i got 6 trout between 1/2 to 2-pounds by 11:30 and a couple of small bass that hit the crawlers. One thing you have to watch is that there is a current (at least where I was fishing) here. You can't use the normal slip-bobber method, It's tight lines and 1/2 ounce sliding sinkers to keep your line from getting drug to the side of the bank. At only $14 total for the both of us to fish, this place is a great deal. It still gets elbow to elbow though, just like any good fishing lake in suburban So. Cal. I hope to see you all at the Tournament next week. Good fishing, Jeff.
