Report: Got to the lake about 6:30. Rented a boat and trolled along the west shore and dam for nothing. Still fished from the dock outside of Sierra Cove. Nothing. Trolled back to the West shore and got one on a kastmaster. Still fished the west shore. nothing. Went back to trolling and started hooking up. Caught 10 trout by 12:00, released 5. Biggest was 2.7 pounds. Lost a few others including one that pulled a little drag. Most hits came from along the dam or in front of Sierra Cove. Other trollers were doing well also. West shore looked slow. I think most of the fish are out deeper now.
