Water Temp.: 68-69

Weather: Overcast

Seas: Flat

Report: We were planning on heading way south again today, 390 area but we got a late start and headed towards the 371. Never made it to the bank. I spotted jumping tuna about 8 miles from the spot and we stopped and threw out the sardines. Nothing, even though the sonar was going off big time and jumpers around the boat. Set the jigs out and started trolling. Spotted another pod of jumpers and trolled through them this time. Quadruple hookup on all jigs. Started heading towards the 302 and found a paddy that was loaded. We finished our limits here and pulled a few yellowtail off it also. Started trolling the big lure for Mr. Bigeye but couldn't keep the 10-15 pound yellowfin off of the jigs. Called it a good day and headed in. Much thanks to Fishionado and Money Pit for sharing info. on the radio. Also saw a huge pod of false killer whales? Not sure what they were but they came right next to the boat while we were stopped on fish. Lots of life out there real close. Now is the time to get them...
