Report: We got a late start today. Had a little trouble with the fuel filters on the old "Sea Fire" and had to head back to the dock for repairs. After a couple of new filters and bleeding out the air we had her purring like a kitten again. Left S.D. bay around 8 a.m. and headed towards the 302. Found a pod of boats (2- 3/4 day boats and numerous privates) drifting an area just south of the spot. We picked off three small yellowfin here and decided to move on to find our own fish. One of the 3/4 day cattle boats was leaking deisel fuel and created a huge slick across the water. Very disgusting. Well, our plan to find more fish failed and we had to be at the dock by 2:30 so we motored in with our three small yellowfin. Not a great day but still beats work!!
