Report: Fished the Lake Wohlford "Press Day" today, a special event reserved for members of the fishing press. Started off the day with a great breakfast at the Wohlford Cafe and then hit lake for some bass action. We tried worms, crankbaits and trolling all unproductive. Moved to the ramp area for trout and had a slow pick at the fiesty Whitewaters. Hatchery truck came around noon and dumped another 1000 pounds in. Most fish were close to shore, both bait and lures were productive. We ended the day with 8 nice rainbows and a catfish. Should be good for the opener tomorrow.
