Report: I had the fine pleasure of fishing with "Mr. Finesse", Shawn Rogers today for some big bass action. We left all of our regular tackle at home and brought only the big trout imitations in search of lunkers. We arrived at the launch ramp around 9 am and motored over to one of Shawns hot spots. It took a little getting used to throwing such large plugs and Shawn gave me all the info. I needed to fish the bait correctly. About 15 min. later I was hooked on to a nice 5.4 pounder, my personal best! "You're not supposed to get one that quickly" Shawn said. "This usually takes a while." I soon found that to be true as we got only one more short bite for the rest of the day. The conditions were not good and fishing was tough for just about everybody on the lake today. I felt very lucky to have caught at least one nice fish. I really do owe it all to "Mr. Finesse" however, the man is a true professional. I would highly recommend his service to anyone who wants get a lunker bass or just wants to learn how to be a better angler.
