Report: Fished the Flats on Sat. for some barracuda action. The bite had died down on Thurs. so we didn't expect much. Found some birds working about 2-miles outside Huntington harbor. Nothing on the jigs so we trolled around the small Rapalas and picked up a handfull of slimers, mostly shorts. Also lots of mackerel. Cruised by several sport boats and privates, didn't look like anybody was catching much. Headed in early, back to the ramp at 9:30.
