REAL-TIME DATA AND WEATHER FORECASTS

REAL TIME DATA

California Department of Water Resources has current snow levels at many other snow sensors.

The snow summary by section report gives regional average snow water equivalent, percent of April 1 average and percent of normal for this date.

The NRCS has the SNOTEL station image map available for selecting stations to plot current data.

A precipitation update for all California SNOTEL stations is located here.

HISTORIC DATA

The California Cooperative Snow Surveys web site was the source for all data used at the Southern Pacific Crest Trail Snow Page.

I'll be adding more to this soon

BULK DATA SELECTOR - California Department of Water Resources, Division of Flood Management. For reference, see the the list of hourly and event stations (140kb), the list of daily stations, the list of monthly stations, precipitation sensors, or river gage stations. Snow course data (combined depth and water content) is also available by course number.
