FFinally got a good night's sleep, first time in weeks. Guess the stress of wondering if we're going to be ready on time and knowing deep down that Monday would suck hard has passed. Now if I could just get rid of this sore back all would be 100%.
With our new grocery supply I had a great breakfast too. Just need some jam for my toast and I'm all set. We keep thinking of stuff to buy but that's to be expected. As we become more accustomed to living like this it'll become second nature to us.
The workshops went 1 000 000 to the power of infinity times better than yesterday. I think it's because they actually had stuff to do today. Unfortunately I had to be the heavy today. Nina was having a rough go of it this morning. I could see it in her body language and her face. I did my best to stay with her group all morning to lend some kind of presence but I was putting out a few fires and it didn't work. She called me in during her second workshop and I had a discussion with the group. Nina said that after that, things seemed to improve. Hopefully it will continue for the rest of the week. If things continue as they did this morning I might get a group for a day!
Phil and I did Swap today and we went pretty much right to 5:00. No time to clean up or anything. It'll be a bit rushed tomorrow morning getting set up and cleaned up but if we each take an area and a workshop then all should be good to go.
I tried to call Charles and Doug today (pretty sad when I call work before home eh?) but they weren't there. So we're going to try again tomorrow.
Phil and Rob played chess. First time I'd done that in ages. After Phil and Nina came back from their run, Phil and Rob talked about the workshops and general work stuff. He seems to be getting the hang of the Science North style. Next week we'll review and maybe I'll set objectives with everyone for their evaluations that I'm doing at the end of summer.
Forgot to mention that we went shopping today. Put my photos in for development so I'll get them Friday after work. Must remember to get a photo of all the kids in front of the van before we go.
Currently playing chess with Phil (he's winning) so I'll stop. Also ran out of things to write about.
