Movie: Scary Movie

What it's about: A spoof of pretty much any scary movie in the 90's, it follows the lives of 5 high school students as they try to figure out who is killing them off one by one and why.

What I thought: There are a few movies that disturb me and there was only one scene in this movie that disturbed me. Other than that I thought that it was hysterical.
I haven't seen any of the Scream movies or the whole I Know What You Did Last Summer series either but from what I understand this film pretty much trashes the entire 90's horror genre. And it just doesn't stop there. The Budweiser WAZZUP! commercial gets trashed here too. It's pretty funny actually.
The slap stick in the movie is funny and believe it or not, there was a pretty neat twist to the movie at the end, can't give it away though or I'll spoil the ending.
So why the rating? Well it's no Spaceballs but it is a good comedy and other than that one disturbing scene (it involves a men's bathroom in a movie theatre) it was pretty good. To give you an indication of the type of movie, I'll quote a friend of mine who saw it just after I did, "I knew right away what kind of movie it was going to be when the first joke in the movie was a fart joke."
