These bikes can be highly modified such as the bike we raced.
It was purchased from Kenny Roberts Jr. So this unit had some of the hottest fast guy parts available. This little monster could satisfy even the most seasoned roadrace veteran. It also caused other racers to grow an extremely long face when our team showed up. Sporting 5 - 8 identically painted YSR-50's. Our 13 member team was sponsored and supported by Motul Racing Oils and Vance & Hines Motorcycle Centers of La Mirada and Long Beach. Sharing the bikes between the beginner, amateur & pro Classes we would share the cost for the repairs and take home between 4 to 9 trophies at each event.
