Lake Arlington Information

Quick overview:
Lake Arlington, dedicated in 1990, is actually a 50 acre detention pond. Although boating and a wading beach is also available, the lake is large enough to allow fishing without interference from the other activities. A north and south bay provides plenty of pegging possibilities, and the shoreline is line with rip-rap making it a pleasent venue. The lake has had a catch and release rule in effect since at least 1998 and (according to the park district) will remain in effect through 2001.
