Nielsons Channel Information

Quick overview:
Nielsons Channel is one of the backwaters located along the Fox River. Located in Fox River Valley Gardens/Barrington, Nielsons is one of the first ice fishable bodies of water in IL. Unfortunately no topo maps, nor water body size exists for Nielsons Channel. Word is, most parts are 2 to 5' deep, which accounts for its' fast freezing. With no public access, you must pay to park to fish here, plus with a shorline consisting of scrub brush, along with trees, this area could never be used for an open water match.
