Report=Tough day of fishing off the central Cal. coast. Total for the day was 5 albacore for 17 anglers. The albies were nice-sized (25-35 pounds) but far and few between. We only got two jig strikes all day and once stopped on some metered fish and picked-off two on bait. We had fished out to 60 miles but found most of the life (fish, birds, sperm whales) at 20-30 miles SW of the harbor. Trolled every lure imaginable. What got bit both times was a zuchinni color Zuker's. The crew and captain worked very hard to find us some fish, but it was slim pickens out there. I got skunked and so did 12 other anglers. One guy caught two. He was happy.

Rating=Poor
