Bike Rides on Maryland Rail Trails

Here is a description of rides on several Maryland Trails taken by two older (upper 70's at time of trips) bike riders from New Hampshire. Since we came from New Hampshire, we always spent a few days on these trips to do some sightseeing as well as bicycling. We were only slightly familiar with many of the areas of these trails, so had to look up much info on the web which is included here.

A ride on the Western Maryland Rail Trip.

A trip on the Baltimore and Annapolis Rail Trail and the Washington, Baltimore and Annapolis Rail Trail.

A trip on the C and O Canal Towpath. This was part of a trip from Pittsburgh to Washington, DC and includes some Pennsylvania trails.

A 40 mile round trip on the North Central Rail Trail. This also includes a trip on the York County Heritage in Pennsylvania which connects to it.
