New Comers/New Relationships
Sushio was in a good mood. It was exactly one week since his arrival in Tokyo-3 and he was awaiting his sister. He was in the dining room eating lunch with Shinji, Rei, and Asuka when there was a knock on the door. Shinji answered expecting to see Kaede since she left her keys in her room. Instead it was Yoshiro.
"Hi," he said, "mind if I visit?"
"Come on in," said Shinji, "you're welcome anytime."
"Thanks." They both sat down and the table and talked while Rei and Sushio were finishing their food. Then the phone rang, Asuka got up and answered.
"WHAT?!" she yelled. She listened intently and hung up.
"We're under ATTACK!!!!" she yelled. They all ran out the door and jumped into Misato's car which was waiting outside.
"Hyuga, I want you to get me an express car tram pronto!!" Misato shouted into the car phone. hanging up she pulled into the car tram at a screeching halt. In 2 minutes the Pilots were out of the car and in their Evas preparing for launch. Misato gave the signal and they launched upwards. Sushio carefully got out of his elevator and picked up a spear. Rei grabbed he long range rifle, Shinji pulled out his pistols, Asuka her axe, and Yoshiro had a new Laser rifle as well as his sword, The cautiously look around.
"Where is it?" asked Rei who was looking everywhere, except upwards. The Angel Dropped out of the sky.
"Rei look out!!" shouted Shinji as Unit-01 pushed Unit-00 out of the way. The Angel Smashed down onto Unit-01's back and started to tear off the armor.
"Shinji!!!" shouted Rei in distress. Unit-00 pulled the angel off of Unit-01 and threw it, giving Shinji enough time to get out of his position.
"Watch out!!" yelled Yoshiro as he blasted a laser shot right into the Angel's back. Purple blood spewed out covering Unit-05.
"I can't see!"
Unit-05 held turned as Yoshiro frantically tried to wipe of the blood which covered Unit-05's eyes. The Angel, now pissed, let out a High Energy shot blasting Unit-05's left arm off. Yoshiro screamed in pain and Shot blindly at the Angel, shooting off an arm and narrowly missing Unit-02's head. The Angel lunged at Unit-05 smashing it into a building. Then Yoshiro's Eva shutdown completely. The angel then, knowing it's enemy was defeated, turned to unit-06 which was right behind it. Sushio plunged his knife toward the orb.
"Oh crap!!" he missed. The angel ripped off Unit-06's right arm. He screeched in pain.
"Look out!!" yelled Asuka as Unit-02 ran in front of the Angel protecting Unit-06. She took the full force blow of the Angel as it smashed into Unit-02. Asuka Screamed blacking out. Unit-06 got up and disappeared in a heat wave.
"Where is he?" asked Rei.
"He's cloaked. It's some new technology we wanted to test and it works!" said Ritsuko. The wavy form of Unit-06 could barely be seen until he pulled out his new Neuron Death Progressive Knife. Before the angel could realize what was happening the knife was jabbed into it's chest and Neuron Death Pulses streamed through it's blood. Slowly it crumpled to the floor. All of the sudden it flashed bright Green and Exploded sending Unit-06 and 02 flying backwards.
"Sushio, Asuka report!" shouted Misato. No answer. "Oh crap!! This can't be happening.' she thought.
"Statis Report!!!" she shouted. Sushio groaned.
"The Cloaking system has been damaged. Exstensive damage has occured to Unit-02, 05, and 06."
"Who hit me with the Two-by-Four? I think I broke my arm." he said.
"Unit-02's pilot life signs are dropping!" shouted Hyuga as he watched the heart monitor
start to flat line.
"Administer a Heart massage!" yelled Ritsuko from the other side of the room.
"I want an evac team out there now!" yelled Misato, "force eject the entry plug!"
"Belay that!" said Commander Ikari.
"You can't be serious!?" shouted Misato in distress.
Inside Asuka's entry plug she lay in a pool of slightly Red LCL. She twitched as the heart
massage was administered.
"Damn you Ikari!!" yelled Sushio. Unit-06 then ripped off the protective layer of Unit-02's
back and the Entry plug popped out. He gently put it down and ejected his own. Running
over he pried the hatch open, despite his broken arm. He gently lifted Asuka into his arms
as the Ambulance arrived. He put her in the chair and climbed into the ambulance. They
brought both of the pilots to the ER and started work on Sushio's arm and on Asuka's
lungs. One was narrowly punctured and they had to patch it up.
Asuka was dreaming, which surprised her. She had just been in a battle a moment ago and
now she was dreaming.
"Why am I asleep?" she asked her self.
"You were Knocked out," said a voice, from behind her. It was Sushio!
"I carried you to the ambulance."
"You did?" then she noticed his left arm was hanging limply.
"Your arm.." she gasped.
"Even though it was broken I carried you." he said
"You did that for me?!" she said, shocked.
"Yes," he said, smiling weakly, "since I first met you I've fallen in love with you."
"You love me?" she was having a hard time understanding why he'd be in love with her.
"Yes." he said moving closer to her. He then vanished and Asuka woke up. She saw
Sushio sitting in a chair glowing a light green color. The glow disappeared as he looked
into Asuka's eyes. He implanted a thought in her mind and she understood.
"You spoke to me," she said, "didn't you."
"Yes."
"I..." she choked, then pulled up her courage, "I love you!" she cried softly in her
happiness, she sorta had a thing for him ever since he first arrived.
"Please stop crying,"Sushio said smiling, "or you'll get me going to!"
They both laughed. There was a brief knock on the door as Misato walked in.
"You gave us quite a scare Asuka." she said smiling.
"Sorry about that." she blushed.
"Where are the others?" asked Sushio.
"Yoshiro and Shinji were on their way to have a "discussion" with Commander Ikari. Rei
managed to stop Shinji, but Yoshiro wouldn't listen."
*Commander Ikari's Office*
"How could you do that!" yelled Yoshiro, "you didn't care if she would have died did you!
You cowardly bastard!!"
Gendo was about to press the Security button when Yoshiro stormed out of the room,
feeling he was finished talking.
He met Shinji and Rei down the hall.
"I wish someone would fire that guy!" he said, in a pissed off tone.
"You're not the Only one." came Kaede's voice from behind him. He froze and slowly
turned around putting on a weak smile.
"Don't worry, I won't tell" Yoshiro no longer felt worried.
"We were gonna check up on Asuka and Sushio, you wanna come?" asked Rei.
"Sure!" said Kaede as they started walking.
"What happened to Sushio's arm?" asked Shinji
"Well, his arm was broken in 2 places and it may take months to heal, but lucky for us his
sister will be here soon and she is a healer." said Kaede, "she's the new Eva pilot that's
arriving in a couple of minutes."
"What do you mean by "Healer"?" asked Rei
"I've heard she can heal wounds in less than 30 seconds, which is quite remarkable.
"Wow!" said Yoshiro
"Maybe she can fix Sushio's arm." said Shinji,
"Exactly!"
They walked into Asuka's room to see Sushio and Asuka in a passionate embrace. Shinji
gulped.
"Well I see you two are feeling fine right now." said Kaede, smiling. They let go of each
other and blushed shyly.
"So do you remember what happened?"
"Well, I remember fighting the angel and getting knocked out and hear I am," said Asuka,
"but I don't know what caused me to black out."
"I think I can explain that." said Kaede, " when you were fighting your sync ratio started
to get so high that if it were any higher you would have been absorbed into the Eva. luckily
the Angel smashed into you so hard it knocked out the sync connection but you were some
how still connected to the Eva. The brain waves of the Eva itself started entering into your
mind and you blacked out."
Asuka remained silent, trying to figure out how that all could have happened. Then they
turned to see Misato standing next to a Green haired girl in the door-way. She had light
purple eyes. Sushio immediately knew who it was.
"Yuko!" he exclaimed.
"Sushio!"
She ran towards him and hugged him.
"I missed you!" she said, then she noticed his arm, "what happened?"
"It's a long story," he said, "I'd like you to meet everyone else."
He introduced her to the other pilots.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all," she said, "now I have to speak my brother privately, so
could you guys wait outside for a second?" She tapped her arm, Kaede got the signal and
they all walked outside, Shinji closed the door and they waited.
"Are you ready?" she asked,
"Ready as I'll ever be!"
"Alright, hear it goes!"
A blue aura surrounded Yuko as she placed her hands on Sushio's broken arm. Sushio
winced as he felt his bones mending together. The light was gone and Yuko collapsed to
the ground exhausted. Sushio concentrated on the cast and it shattered to pieces. He
helped her up and she steadied herself as they walked to the door.
"Thanks," said Sushio, "your a life saver!"
"That's ma job!"
They opened the door and walked outside to meet the others.
"Did it work?" asked Yoshiro, then he gulped and froze. His face started to turn red as
Yuko stared at im with one eyebrow raised.
"How did you know...?" she asked.
"I told them about your background...."started Kaede, but Yoshiro interrupted.
"And your power, I'm sorry."
Yuko smiled
"I like it when people show honesty," she patted him on the shoulder, "apology accepted!"
Yoshiro smiled. He felt at ease.
Yoshiro is quite polite, thought Yuko, he has honesty and knows how to talk around a
woman and he has that strange look in his eyes, as if he is in two places at once.
*1 month later*
Shinji dropped off Rei after a date at the movies. She walked into her apartment to find it
completely trashed. Everything was disheveled or thrown about, someone had been in her
place. She knew now that it was no longer safe to live alone. She ran outside to catch up
with Shinji who was whistling as he walked home.
"Shinji!" she called, her voice sounded like she was scared,
"Rei?!" he said his voice full of concern, "what's wrong?"
"My apartment was trashed, can I stay with you?!" she said as she was a bit out of breathe
from running after him.
"Of course!" he held her close.
"I'm so scared, I thought someone would be hiding in the shadows." she was trying to
maintain her calmness but had trouble.
"It's Okay, I'm here for you."
They walked back to Misato's mansion to see someone jump out of the shadows in front of
them. Rei screamed and Shinji tackled the person to find out it was Yoshiro.
"Hey get off of me man!" he yelled,
"Sorry," Shinji said helping him up, "you scared us half to death!"
"That's how I've been, Someone trashed my place everything is messed up, I ran here but
was confronted earlier by this big man who tried to get me into a car but I ran."
"What the hell?!"
"What?"
"Rei's place was trashed too!!"
"WHAT??!!"
They all looked bewildered at each other for a moment. Then the door to the mansion
opened.
"What in the Hell is going on out here??!!" Misato stood in the doorway, with Sushio,
Yuko, and Asuka behind her.
Shinji went and explained the entire thing to her.
"Of course you guys can stay here! I mean hell, we've got so many rooms we could fit all of
Shinji and Asuka's friends in here as well and still have rooms to spare!"
"Great!"
Misato then assigned Yuko and Shinji to take Rei and Yoshiro to their new rooms.
"Wow!" exclaimed Yoshiro "It's so big!"
*Seele*
Seele 02: Was the artifact found?
UNSynaps: Unfortunately, no.
Seele 07: Do you mean to say that the Lance.......
Keel: Was never found?
UNSynaps: Yes.
Seele 12: Well..
Seele 09: It seems Ikari has outsmarted us again.
UNSynaps: My resources have been high, It will be found within the week!
Seele 05: It had better!
Seele 08: You understand....
Keel: We will not tolerate failure!
UNSynaps: Understood.....
*Nerv, main Bridge*
"An unidentified object has been spotted near the ruins of Matsushiro!" shouted Aoba
"Blood Type blue confirmed, It's an Angel!"
"The committee is demanding that we dispatch the Evangelions!" said Maya
Ritsuko watched at the screen. The angel appeared to be completely oblivious to it's
surroundings. The UN forces deployed an N2 mine.
"Visual lost!"
"Contact, Major Katsuragi, I want the Eva's ready as soon as possible!" called Ritsuko to
a female technician in a Orange jump suit.
"Yes ma'am!"
"Visual maintained!"
The Angel was not effected, not a single peice of it was missing the A.T. field was twice as
strong as Ramiel's (the 5th angel)
*Misato's Mansion*
"Ya know, you're one heck of a guy!" said Yuko as she sat with him on a balcony.
(Ed. note: "A balcony" means the balcony out side of Yoshi's room.)
"Huh?!" he hadn't expected this, he had just met Yuko.
"You're very polite!"
"WHAT?!" came Misato's Muffled yell.
"Ok, get me an express car tram ready now!" she then yelled to all of the Pilots, "GUYS
WE'RE BEING APPROACHED BY AN ANGEL!!!! GET DOWN HERE NOW!!!!!"
"Well," said Yoshiro, "here we go!"
As he got up Yuko kissed him gently on the cheek. He looked at her surprised and she
giggled.
"For luck!" she said. Her face then became stern.
"Come on lets kick some ass!"
She pulled him down the stairs at a small run and out the door, into Misato's car and on
their way.
"Who the fucK is that!?" Yelled Misato, swerving, as a man drove madly strait at them.
He pulled a 360 and sped off after them.
"Damn!! Seele can't still be after it can they?" shouted Yuko.
"What is "it"?!"
"The Lance of Longinous!"
"Oh my god!" whispered Rei. Misato quickly pulled into the car tram and they sped down
towards headquarters. The Man gave up his chase.
They all shrugged off the incident, but Rei knew that Yuko was hiding something, little did
she know what was in store for Yuko.
As they entered the base the rushed to the locker rooms changing into their plug suits. 2
minutes later they were inside their Eva's and awaiting launch.
"All units have been activated!"
"Right!" Misato shouted, "Eva Launch!!!"
The Eva's were up moving cautiously. It was Unit-00 that first came into contact. Right
before Rei could fire her rifle, it shattered in her hands.
"What the..?!"
"Still fighting us I see. I am Tyrnazel, last of the Angels attacking earth. I have come here
only to warn you. The Jackal, or the Devil as you might put it, was the reason for the
Second Branch's mysterious disappearance. He has decided to challenge all Humanity!!
His Daemons are more powerful then the Angels which have attacked you before. The
Dead Sea Scrolls have been changed. Good luck!!"
The Angel then vanished.
"Daemons??" asked Shinji, "what are they?"
"We're about to find out!!" shouted Ritsuko. A volcanic eruption in Okinawa sent a large
mass speeding towards Tokyo-3.
"Unidentified Object flying in a 300 mph. It will be here in 5 minutes!!"
"Time to break out the heavy weapons!" shouted Yuko as she pulled something from the
back pack on Unit-07's back. They all gasped at the sight of the Lance of Longinous.
"What the??!!!!" the pilots all shouted at the same time.
"I'll explain later!" she grinned.
"Shinji do you have the Blade of Souls with you?" asked Ritsuko.
"Yes."
Unit-07, surprisingly, tossed the lance to Unit-00.
"Here," she said, "You know how to use it!"
Unit-06 and 02 both were equipped with Energy Beam Cannons, which were as strong as
the beam Ramiel had used. Unit-07 had a large progressive sword out, much like Unit-05's. Unit-05 had an E-impulse cannon which would neutralize an A.T. field almost
instantly.
"Incoming!!" shouted Sushio as the daemon landed in the center of the Eva's circle. It
wasted no time in attacking as it launched it self at Unit-07 with a flying kick. Unit-07
ducked and tried a jab into it's leg. Only a small prick was made.
"The Target has opened an A.T. field!"
"Take this!!!" shouted Rei as she plunged the Lance through the Daemons left arm. Before
she could turn around the Daemon gave Unit-00 a kick the snapped it's back pack unit
clean off.
"What the hell?! Unit-00 is not switching to stand by!"
Emergency was all over the screen.
"Dammit!!"
Rei screamed as the Daemon smashed Unit-00's had into a building.
"REI!!!!!!" shouted Shinji. He rushed at the Angel knocking it off guard, only to smashed
backwards by the daemons fist. Another Daemon was rocketed from the Volcano.
"What the fuck!!!! Is this possible??!!" shouted Misato.
"You bastards chose the wrong time to party!!" shouted Asuka as both Unit-02 and 06
both fired beams at the new target obliterating it completely.
The first Daemon started to attack Unit-07 ripping it's legs off and pulverizing it's face.
Yuko screamed and fell unconscience in her plug. Still the pain proceeded through her
body.
"Damn You!!!!" shouted Yoshiro as he took The Blade of Souls from Shinji. "Yoshiro
Wait!!" shouted Shinji as Unit-05 rushed on the target slicing it like a mad man. The
Daemon exploded sending Unit-05 and 07 up into the air. they came crashing down.
Slowly Unit-05 got up. It then pulled out Unit-07's entry plug. Yoshiro ejected from his
own.
"Yuko!! he shouted when he reached the plug. Prying it open he nearly turned at the sight.
Yuko's body was pale and limp, she was bleeding from a small, yet deep cut on her arm.
He cried cradling her in his arms.
"Damn it Yuko wake up!!!!" he cried in anguish, "WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
