Genesis 1:4 Hell on Earth/"Wake Up Yuko!!"
*2 Weeks After The Angels Attack*
"Sushio, I'm sorry" said Misato, as she tried to bring some reason to Sushio's wanting to destroy Head Quarters, "there was nothing you could do, there was nothing we could do!"
He glared coldly at her from the inside of his Plug.
"Don't you understand!" he yelled, "there is nothing that can possibly stop what has happened! Everything we had hardly even scratched that Fucking Monster!! NOTHING!!!"
"Please calm down!"
"NO!! I AM NOT GOING TO JUST SHRUG THIS OFF!!!! YUKO WAS INSIDE THAT...THAT....THING, AND LOOK WHERE SHE IS NOW!!!"
Sushio started to cry angrily.
"Sushio don't force me to take you out of that thing."
"My sister is in a coma and you start giving me commands!!? If I wanted I could Destroy this Entire facility right now!! And you Tell ME to CALM DOWN!!!??"
"Force Eject the Entry plug!"
"The code is not being responded!! He's cut us off completely!"
"SUSHIO!!" came a yell.
Everyone on the bridge gasped at the sight of Yoshiro standing, defiantly, right in front of Unit-06.
"What in the Hell do YOU want?!" came the angry reply.
"Stop acting like a child!! I have the same feelings for Yuko as you and here you are threatening all of our lives including hers!!"
At this Sushio gasped. He never thought of himself hurting his sister in his plot for revenge. He thought more about his cause.
"I.... I..... I'm ...s..sorry..." he whispered, "I wasn't thinking." he then ejected the entry plug.
"Get Security down there and escort that boy to my office immediately!" shouted Misato.
'I guess he's lucky neither of the Commanders are her.' she thought as she walked to her office. As she entered she saw Sushio, hanging his head in his hands, sitting in a chair against the wall.
"YOU GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T ARREST YOU RIGHT NOW!!!" she shouted.
"I can't," he said, his tone stuttery, "all I can do is beg for forgiveness. Unless, you can consider the loss of another pilot in this time of need; without me only four would be left. They wouldn't stand a chance."
"I understand!" she said
"You What?!!" he was shocked. He had expected to be arrested in a couple of seconds.
"You will be on a temporary probation from all of your activities with the other children. Unless you would rather have me send you back to where you came."
"What other choices do I have. I accept the offer of probation." he said.
She stared at him in pity.
"I want you to go home and avoid the others. You must not talk, or interact with any of them for the period of 3 weeks, unless....." she paused and he rose his head.
"Unless.... we are under attack, or your sister pulls out of her coma, Understood?!"
"Yes Ma'am!"
"Dismissed!"
As Sushio left he thought. He couldn't understand how the words came out except that
something forced him to say them.
*Nerv Special Hospital, Room 12, Patient: Yuko Kushina*
Yuko slept in her coma. Her eye's closed tightly as she dreamed.
Yuko:---+---

The Angel!!

Why am I sleeping?

Voice:(gone)
Yuko: What do you mean?

Voice:(Angry) NO!!!!!
*3 weeks later*
Ritsuko stood down in the Terminal Dogma with Maya and Kaede. All three working on the regeneration of Unit-03. They had started from the remains of one of the arms that had been ripped of in Unit-01's fight when Unit-03 was in fact possessed by an Angel. So far all that remained was the left arm the neck and the head.
"Starting stage two of the left arm regeneration." said Maya.
Kaede was tapping furiously on he key board.
"This is Amazing!" stated Kaede, as she stared at the fully regrown arm of the Unit which was floating inside the coolant LCL, "it's regenerating faster than we thought!"
"Yes but we have to be careful, we don't need another Unit-03 incident." said Maya
remembering what happened the first time they used Unit-03
Flash back: Unit-01's dummy plug system engaged
Shinji: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING FATHER!!!?
Unit-03 being attacked by Unit-01.
Shinji: FATHER!! TURN OFF THIS THING FOR GOD SAKE!!
STOP!! Dear god make it stop!!! Stop! Stop! Stop!
Unit-03's Entry plug being smashed.
Shinji: oh god NOOO!
Later: Shinji finds out who the pilot is.
Misato: Shinji?
Shinji:(Wide eyed).....
Misato: Shinji?!
Shinji: ........
Misato: SHINJI!!?
Shinji: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
*Reality*
"Yeah, you're right there." said Ritsuko.
'How long can I keep this up?' she thought, 'someone's going to find out sooner or later!'
*Misato's Mansion 12:30 a.m.*
Rei was up. She had trouble sleeping since the words of Tyrnazel were first heard. She got up and went down the stairs to get a glass of water, when she saw someone in the kitchen.
"Who's there?" she asked cautiously. She flicked on a light. It was Sushio drinking a glass of water.
"What are you doing down here?" she asked. He finished his water and briskly left the room going back up the stairs to his bedroom.
'What's wrong with him?' she thought. The she remembered what the Major had told
them all
Flash Back:
Misato: Sushio is not allowed to speak to you all until further notice. Due to what
happened at headquarters. Yoshiro can explain to you all later.
*Reality*
She shrugged it off and proceeded to get her water.
*Seele*
Seele 02: This was Unfortunate
Seele 08: Very
Keel: Something must be done
Seele 04: Unfortunately that can't.....
Seele 10: Happen!
UNSynaps: We've still uncovered the secret of Unit-03, should it be told?
Keel: No I want to see how Ikari handles it this time!
Seele 06: Considering we were fortunate to revive the 13th angel!
Voice: Maybe but that still doesn't mean it will work.
Seele 12: Ah the profound Dr. Ritsuko Akagi has joined us at last!
Seele 09: Or should we say Profound Saboteur?
Ritsuko: Don't worry it won't look like sabotage.
Keel: It had better not!
UNSynaps: Everything is going according to Seele's plan.
Keel: And what about The Daemons?
UNSynaps: They won't last long, it is written in the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Keel: Ikari, not even you will win through this one!
*Nerv Special Hospital, Room 12, Patient: Yuko Kushina*
Yuko tossed this time in her coma.

Yuko: What does that mean?
Voice: It matters not what it means but who you think.
Yuko: What? I don't understand.....
Voice: You will.....
Yuko: When?
Voice: Soon....
Yuko: When is soon?
Voice: Soon is Soon....
Yuko: what?
Voice: Soon means soon....
Yuko:..........
Voice: In time you will see me.
(the voices sounds like a womans)
Yuko: what?
Voice: Remember this........
Yuko: Huh?!
Voice: Now it is time to awaken, my child!
Yuko: Child?
Sushio had snuck out after his Sync test to visit his sister. Knowing he had little time he walked as fast as he could without jogging. He opened the door and sat down in a chair next to his sister. He just starts to talk when she wakes up.
"Yuko, y..you're awake?!" he tried to hold back his tears.
"Sushio?" she was a bit dazed.
"Yuko!" he hugged her tightly.
"Woh there bro, don't squeeze me to death!" she smiled at him when he let go.
"I was so afraid," he said, "I thought you'd never pull through!"
She ruffled his hair.
"Just how long have I been asleep?" she asked.
"F.... Five Weeks."
"WHAT?!"
"I'll get the doctor." he said, "I missed your company so much I..."
"You what?"
"I....I'll tell ya later."
Yuko sat in her bed pondering what he was talking about when Misato came in. When she saw Yuko sitting up in her bed she almost fell down in shock.
"You're....y!" she stuttered.
"Um, is something wrong?"
"N...n...n-no...but.."
"But what?"
"You're awake!"
"Yeah I noticed."
"You've been asleep for..."
"Five weeks I know."
"What?!"
"Sushio was here when I awoke."
Misato's shock changed to surprise.
"Oh he was, was he?" her face seemed like she was a little angry but trying to maintain her cool.
"Yes," Yuko stared at her, "is something wrong with that?"
Misato then explained what had happened during her 5 weeks of being in a coma. Yuko was shocked when she learned what her brother had done.
"You're kidding me, right?"
"No, I'm not."
Yuko sat there unable to think. Then the words popped out of her mouth.
"Well I can't blame him for what he did, Eva was probably talking through him."
"What?!"
"Eva was talking through him. It happened once when we were in China, his Eva spoke through him and then went berserk destroying headquarters. You were lucky that Yoshiro was there."
"I don't understand...."
"You will."
The door opened and the doctor, fallowed by Sushio, walked in.
"Hello Yuko, how are you feeling today?"
"Fine thank you."
"That's good."
The doctor started doing a couple of tests to make sure there was no damage caused by the coma. Everything checked out fine and the doctor told her she could leave when she felt like it. the door opened again and in walked Yoshiro, fallowed by Asuka, Rei, and Shinji.
"H...how are you?" Yoshiro was stuttering, he was so happy to see her awake.
"I'm great! Never felt better!!" said yuko, in her most enthusiastic tone.
"The doctor said I could leave as soon as I liked!"
"Th...that's great!"
"Yeah!"
Yuko asked if Misato would pick up some of her clothes from home before she left. Everyone left except for Yoshiro who wanted to stay. He tried to keep his tears back as he struggled to talk to her.
"Wh..w.. what was it like?"
"What was what like?"
"W... What was it like, being .. in a c-coma?"
"Strange....."
Yoshiro couldn't handle it anymore and broke down.
"Oh god I was so scared, I though you would never wake up, I came by almost everyday, oh god was I scared!"
She got out of her bed and sat down beside him. She tried to comfort him and he stopped crying. She looked into his eyes, almost losing herself to the vast, wavy look.
"It's ok," she said, holding him in her arms, " I am alive!"
