Prologue
Something New
In the Midst of Nerv's Underground Lab. Commander Ikari, head of Nerv, was overseeing the newest production. The New Eva, Unit-05.
"Is Unit-05 completed yet?" He asked impatiently.
"Almost," answered Ritsuko "but we still need to put in the S2 Organ and we need to get a sync test in which a Pilot will be required."
"Has the sixth child been found yet?" He asked.
"Yes. According to the Marduke Report he was picked because of an extensive military record. He attended 3 years at West Point Military Academy in the United States. We have no idea how he got in at such a young age. considering that he was only 11 years old at the time. His father died when he was 1 year old in a large earth quake following Second impact. He lives now in Tokyo three with his grandmother and will be coming in to work for us in 3 days. He himself is Really of Japanese heritage but his family moved to North America in hopes of a good living and easy fortune. This was not to be. His father worked in the second branch of Nerv in the United States seeing he could not seem to keep a job that didn't end up being taken over by the large conglomerate NavCo which seemed to sweep through taking over all of the Local Banks and Businesses. He went to Nerv in 1996 where he learned of Lilith the First Angel. When he found out about the Second Angel Adam he raved about total destruction and was fired in 1999 before Adam exploded causing Second Impact. Before he died he made sure his son would train specially to get into Nerv Somehow or the other. His Mother works now as The Head Scientist of Nerv's 3rd branch in Germany. She is currently creating the new s3 engine and is almost finished."
"Hmm," Ikari Paused "we shall have to look into this new s3 engine."
"What about our delivery of the Seventh Child and Unit-06 from China" he asked
"Well they are apparently running a bit below schedule so he will be arriving Tomorrow." said Ritsuko
"And what about his sister the Eighth Child?" asked the commander
"She should arrive a few days after her brother." replied Ritsuko
"Good. It seems everything is going to plan. Give me the papers on the siblings and I shall examine them myself." he said. Ritsuko handed him the files.
"Sir the pilot is here" said Maya on the intercom.
"Send him in." Said Ikari. A semi-tall boy walked in carrying a bag. He had dark brown hair (a lot like Shinji) pale skin and a thin build. The most strange thing about him was his eyes. They were a light Green color.
"Welcome to Nerv. You will be assigned to Major Katsuragi. Doctor Akagi here will supply you with you access card and plug suit. I have other pressing business. Good Day." Ikari finished and he left. The Boy was dumbstruck. 'That was it?!' he thought.
"Hello Yoshiro," Ritsuko Paused "I'm Dr. Ritsuko Akagi, you can call me Ritsuko."
*Classified Info, The Change of years*
It is the Year 2016. The pilots as well as Nerv have gone through much pain suffering and consequence. But still things managed to work out and most everyone is still Alive. Everyone is a Year older than before. Rei Ayanami's third and Final clone has been found and her soul is still inside. Shinji Ikari still ,so far, has highest sync ratio among the pilots. Asuka Langly Soryu isn't as impatient and mean as before and she seems to be a bit kinder around others. New Depiction's have been found and the new s3 organ is almost perfected as well as the New Enzine System which is a new upgrade to the Magi System, Created by Naoko Akagi. The Enzine System upgrade was created by Kaede Somato. Misato hasn't changed much from the fun loving, beer drinking ,Captain we all love so much except that she has more sympathy towards others troubles and she does her job a bit more seriously than before. The future has opened up towards new pilots as well as scientists and technicians.
