My Thoughts
I didn't get hooked on 'Buffy' until its 3rd season and no small part of that was due to the talents of its star  (before that the show just seemed like a really stupid idea, I was probably prejudiced by that awful movie).

Sarah is an absolutely fanastic actor and I'm not just saying that because of her looks! The show just wouldn't work if she wasn't there to bring her powerful emotions to the screen - when Buffy feels sad, I feel sad; when Buffy is happy, I'm happy!

Now I know she hasn't had much success in her movie career yet. She had a minor role in that dreadful sequel to 'Scream', and then starred in two of the worst films I have ever seen (in my humble opinion) - 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' and 'Cruel Intentions'. But I'm sure she will soon appear in a movie that can showcase her amazing talents. In fact her new movie 'Harvard Man' may very well be such a movie - keep an eye out!
Sarah's Life Thus Far
As you are probably aware Sarah started acting when she was just four years old. Apparently she was discovered by a talent scout while she was eating in a restruant with her mum.

She started off doing modelling for parent magazines and then moved into acting. She won a scholarship for the  LaGuardia High School for Performing Arts, and did over 100 commercials before landing her big break when she was cast in the daytime soap 'All My Children' in 1993 (for which she won a daytime Emmy).

She auditioned for the role of Cordelia in 'Buffy' but, fortunately, didn't get it. Instead landing the lead role! And you know the rest.
