Journey Through Morning Musume

When Yoshizawa first joined Morning Musume with the other first gen, it seemed for her a struggle to catch a bit of the spotlight. Tsuji Nozomi and Kago Ai gained most of the attention, being the youngest and most full of energy. Ishikawa Rika was right away one of the most cutest members, which singled out Yoshizawa as the last unknown fourth gen member.

Her first chance for the spotlight came when she entered the group Pucchi Moni (Petit Moni), replacing Ichii Sayaka, and joining Gotou Maki and Yasuda Kei. Still, she seemed to not regain much attention from this, nor her short haircut, until her spotlight song "Mr Moonlight! Ai no Big Band" single came out.

Yoshizawa sang the low part for Momusu's 13th single, "Mr Moonlight! Ai no Big Band", along with Gotou Maki and Natsumi Abe. Although it was shared with two of the most loved members, Yoshizawa's part was the largest, and earned her a final spot along with the rest of the fourth gen.

Now, Yoshizawa is known for being one of the most funniest members, with her tomboyish personality and low voice.
