Vocabulary Story

Once there was a man, name John, he was rich. He had abundant of money and lands. He married with a beautiful girl, named Abigail. He was a callous man. He was very effrontery and guile. Abigail did not love him; she only married him for the money.

They have been married for ten years and they do not have any children. They were a contentious couple. One day John went to a city for business. He went to casino to gamble and he lost half of his properties. He was very indignation that day. On his way home there were many beggars who begged John for some money because they have not eaten for many days. John did not give them any money and he kicked them.

Those gaunt beggars were angry but they have no power so they have to let John go. One of the beggars was a pretty young girl, named Betty. She can't stand the way John treated them and she promised herself she would get her revenge.

The very next day, Betty saw John was standing in front of his hotel so she went to him and pretended she's going to fall down. John was lechery so he ran over and caught her. He thought Betty was very pretty so he asked Betty to married him and Betty promised him. At that time Abigail did not know John have a second wife and Abigail and Betty lived in different place. John did not go to Abigail's place all the time and Abigail was getting suspicious about it.

Betty knew Abigail was a jealous woman so she asked her servant to give Abigail a message; said, "I know where your husband is. He's with another woman in a beautiful house near the beach." When Abigail got the message she went there directly. She saw Betty with John and she was very angry because she did not want to lose her husband even she did not love him. (The truth is that Abigail did not want to lose the properties.) John saw Abigail and asked her to leave the house and tell her he does not love her any more. Abigail was angry so she went to the kitchen and gets the knife, she accidentally killed John and she became crazy.

Betty retaliated. She augur Abigail would kill John. Ever since that day Betty inheritance John's properties and became the riches woman in that country.
