Alternate Universe -- Blue and Lute

Notes: Okies ^^ A mun is just another way to say the person's RPer...so..yes ^^ Ky melts later. Whoo, on with the pointless shounen ai.

Blue lies on his back on one of the beds, a far-away look in his eyes. He looks half asleep, obviously not focused on anything.
Lute watches Blue for a long, wondering if the young mage is even breathing, let alone alive. He sits in a char, by the kitchen, his eyes only focused on Blue. A monkey sits on the counter behind, looking agitated.
Blue sits up, sighing and pushing a bit of his hair out of his face. He says nothing, though he glances to Lute.
Lute smiles, happy that Blue is really alive and will not rot on the bed.
Blue tries to keep back his own smile, Lute's dopey one practically contagious. He glances off, stating his conclusion, which is actually pretty obviously. "..that Magic Kingdom is a problem."
Lute blinks, "What're we going to do about it?" He shifts, the Asura by his side.
Blue shrugs a bit. "...mm..that's the problem, I'm not sure. The Arch Mages are the real problem."
Lute sits there, thinking, looking rather adorable, just sitting there, index finger to his lips and looking to the ceiling as if it will give him the answer. He stops after a while- and shrugs.
Blue glances at Lute, abruptly looking away. 'No, Blue. Guy. You're a guy. Guy's are attracted to -girls-.' He shakes his head. "...maybe I'll go and try to get rid of them."
Lute scowls, "But they're stronger than you!" Well, we now know Lute has the ability to state the obvious.
Blue hms, shrugging. "...hai, I know they are."
Lute's scowl deepens, obviously worried for the mage. He would never forgive himself is he let Blue go into the Magic Kingdom alone and get killed. Never. He, then, smiles cheerily. "I'll help!" he says while chirping happily, his pompoms bouncing.
Blue blinks looking at Lute and shaking his head. "No way! It's too dangerous...."
Lute frowns, once this minstrel has made a decision there is little or no way to budge him. "But you'll get hurt."
Blue nods a bit. "...most likely."
Lute's frown deepens. "Then you're not going in alone."
Blue frowns. "...if I go alone, only one person will get hurt or killed...."
"At least we'll die together!" Lute smiles cheerfully, despite the morbidness of his words.
Blue twitches. "Iie!!!! I don't want you to die!!"
Lute shrugs, still smiling. "Better than you dying."
Blue hms quietly. "...I won't die..."
Lute blinks, "But you're human. You *can* die." He states matter of factly and cutely.
Blue nods a bit. "...yeah, I know..but..." Ok, he just lost -all- the excuses he had....
Lute blinks yet again, "But I don't want you to die." He sounds a bit pouty.
Blue almost blushes. 'Moron! You're friends! Of -course- he doesn't want you to die!!' "Eh..."
Lute watches Blue intently, is the blue haired minstrel has to he *will* tie or cuff himself to Blue, to keep the mage from doing anything stupid and killing himself.
Blue hms, refusing to look at Lute. "...I'm going alone."
Lute scowls, okay, maybe he should bring out the rope. "No, you're not."
Blue nods. "Yes I am."
Lute grits his teeth, "I'm coming along whether you like it or not!"
Blue shakes his head. "No, you're not. It's too dangerous." He's still glancing off.
Lute resist pouncing the mage, "I am going with you." His tone, unlike the usual cheeriness, is dead set and too serious for the minstrel, and a bit angry.
Blue turns to look at Lute, his eyes narrowed slightly. He's just as serious as Lute. "No."
Lute stares back. "Yes."
Blue growls. "No."
Lute keeps his tone calm, the cheeriness returning, "Yes."
Blue crosses his arms..uh oh...he's about ready to pout... "No."
Lute smiles brightly. "Yes, I am."
Blue scowls. "No, no, no!!!"
Lute grins, "Yes! Yes! Yes!"
Blue turns his back to Lute, switching into pout mode. He says nothing.
Lute giggles, standing and patting Blue on the back. "Don't worry!"
Blue tenses. "You're not coming, got it?"
Lute smiles, gently squeezing Blue's shoulder." I am coming."
Blue tenses more, suddenly blushing. 'He's touching you!!' "...no."
Lute shakes his head. "I am coming." He chirps.
Blue shakes his head. "Iie!"
Lute smiles, leaning slightly closer. "Yes." He says sweetly.
Blue shakes his head. "N-no..." Ack, he's losing it...
Lute's smile becomes even sweeter, seesh, he's using his cuteness to manipulate Blue, and doing a fairly good job! He takes advantage of Blue's stuttering, "Yes."
Blue mms quietly. "...you could get hurt...so..no...."
Lute shakes his head, "And?" Lute squeezes Blue's shoulder again. "I'm coming, Blue, I don't want you to go in alone."
Blue closes his eyes, twisting away a bit from Lute. "Why not? It shouldn't matter. I'm only half a person, after all." Great, now he's getting bitter...sheesh.
Lute looks down at Blue sadly, he hugs him gently, resting his head on Blue's shoulder. "Don't think like that."
Blue tenses, his cheeks turning an intense shade of red.
Lute closes his eyes, he doesn't want Blue to get hurt... Rouge would also be hurt too. "I'm coming, got it?"
Blue moves away from Lute, shaking his head. "No."
Lute watches the mage, "I'm coming."
Blue turns to look at him, still a bit red in the face. "You're not coming. Alright? I'm scared of you getting hurt!!"
Lute scowls, "Do you think I'm not afraid of you getting hurt?"
Blue glances off, laughing weakly. "...you don't understand, Lute..it's not the same with you...I mean....I don't know what I'd do if you got hurt..."
Lute blinks, blushing slightly. "Uh... Blue.." He's at a loss.
Blue hms, smiling weakly and turning to leave. He'd just made a fool of himself...great...
Lute follows, touching Blue's shoulder. "Neither would I... If you got hurt..." He trails off, looking worried.
Blue tenses, his blush deepening. "...it's not the same." He opens the door.
Lute follows, "Blue, you're not going in alone."
Blue frowns. "..yes I am. Alright?"
Lute scowls, "Blue," He grabs Blue's shoulder, holding the mage there strongly. "You're not going alone."
Blue tenses. "..I'd never forgive myself if I let you come and something happened."
Lute growls, closing the door and pushing Blue up against it. He stares at Blue, towering over the mage, being 6'2" has it advantages.
Blue erks, blushing once again. "..please..."
Lute shakes his head, glowering at Blue. "No."
Blue tries to twist away...but, of course, being physically weak isn't exactly an advantage.
Lute lowers his head, /almost/ coming face to face with Blue. "I'm either coming, or you're not going at all."
Blue tries to move away from Lute, hoping the boy doesn't notice the blush and realize what it means. "Let go of me. Now."
Lute shakes his head, he notices the blush, but, this is Lute, his mind is focusing on the argument on whether Blue is going along or not, so he thinks nothing of it. Maybe later he will, but not right now.
Blue tries to kick at Lute's legs. "I said let -go-!!"
Lute growls. "No!" dodging Blue's foot. He pulls the mage off the door and hugs him tightly.
Blue tenses, desperately trying to get away. If Lute kept doing this, he'd come out...he'd tell Lute, whether he wanted to or not, what he felt. "Stop it!! Let me go!!!"
Lute tightens the hug. "Blue.." His voice is soft, "I care for you too much to let you get hurt..."
Blue shakes his head fiercely, his blush surfacing again. "Let go of me!! Stop doing this to me!! You don't get it!"
Lute sighs. "Maybe *you* don't get it.." he murmurs softly.
Blue suddenly stops, relaxing. "N...nani..?"
Lute loosens his hug, looking at Blue sadly and lovingly.
Blue's breath catches in his throat as he looks at Lute. Suddenly, the smaller boy leans forward, kissing Lute full on the lips.
Lute's eye widen for a few seconds, before he starts to kiss back. Meanwhile the mun of the minstrel begins to melt into a little puddle of goosh. Thank you and good day.
Blue blushes, his arms now about Lute's neck. Soon he breaks the kiss, about as red as a tomato (ewww...tomato...). "I-I...."
Lute smiles sweetly, blushing too, though not as red Blue. "Hm?"
Blue shakes his head a bit, leaning into Lute, looking much like a small, defenseless child. "...you know you're still not coming, right?"
Lute smiles, "I am coming."
Blue shakes his head. "No. You're not, moron."
Lute grins, "Look who's talking." He hugs Blue tightly, refusing to let him go.
Blue laughs quietly, burying his face in Lute's chest. He was rather comfortable like this...
Lute smiles, happy, the monkey, still on the counter pouts.
Blue hms quietly. "If you're so set on coming with me, and I'm so set on you -not- coming with me...let's just forget it for now, 'kay?"
Lute nods, "K." He chirps, elated.
Blue sighs, snuggling into Lute again. The mage, finally released from the tension of keeping his feelings in, is exhausted. He falls asleep in Lute's arms, a content smile on his face.
Lute blinks cutely, holding the mage up easily. He picks him up and gently lays him down on the bed.
Blue curls up on the bed, though his hands reach out for Lute.
Lute smiles, curling up next to Blue and holding his hand. He sighs contently and slowly falls asleep.
