Azure and Ciato
Ciato is seated at one of the many chairs, legs crossed neatly, a thick volume of script in his lap. His light blue eyes scan the text and he lip sinks it all silently and thoughtfully.
Azure enters the room, his tall, heeled boots clicking a bit. He looks about, pushing a maroon bang from his eyes and going to stand behind Ciato, peeking over his shoulder. He, obviously, wears a bit of make-up, his nails painted silver. He adorns a plaid red skirt, as well as a tight, short little shirt that shows his stomach. He says nothing, but merely looks at the text, hmming.
Ciato glances upward from the corner of his eye, "May I help you?" he murmurs, closing the book. Upon its black, hardback cover it reads 'The Works Of William Shakespeare'.
Azure smiles faintly, shaking his head, ."Oh no, no. Merely curious." He sits down beside the other boy, crossing his legs and looking him over.
Ciato looks Azure over in return, hrming softly. "I don't believe we've met...my name is Ciato." He holds out one hand. Like Azure, he has well manicured nails, though they are considerably shorter, and a silver ring upon one finger, bearing a strange ivy print.
Azure takes Ciato's hand, lifting it to his lips and kissing it. "I'm Azure. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Ciato blinks, caught a bit off guard by the gesture, though he doesn't show it. "Yes...a pleasure." He pulls back his hand, folding both his hands in his lap.
Azure gives a strange little smile, setting his own hands on his knee. After a moment he lifts a hand once again, cradling Ciato's jaw with his fingertips and turning his head slightly to the side. "Very nice...."
Ciato raises an eyebrow, "...what is?"
Azure mms, "Your face, your features..."
The slightest tint of red graces his features, though it vanishes quickly, "...Thank you. Though I do not deserve your praise."
Azure cocks his head slightly, "Oh, and why is that, dear? Mmm?"
Ciato shifts so as to move his chin from Azure's fingertips, "These features are plain at best. As I said. Nothing worth praise." He brushes a long white tress away from his eyes.
Azure brings back his hand, giving a small shrug, "If you believe so. Though I don't see why you would look at it that way." He flicks back his hair, leaning back in his chair.
Ciato smiles dryly, averting his eyes for a moment, "My appearance is nothing in comparison to my brother's."
Azure ohs, sounding slightly curious. "He's more beautiful than you..?"
Ciato nods, "...he was gorgeous." A slight sadness is visible in his light eyes.
Azure mms, "...was?"
Ciato frowns, "...my brother is dead."
Azure ahs a bit, strangely not looking the least bit sympathetic, "Ah, I see now."
Ciato turns away from Azure, opening his book. He didn't need the pity. Nor did he want it. But he'd always looked like his brother...he couldn't help but think of him.
Azure moves forward in his seat, hugging Ciato from behind and resting his chin on the other boy's shoulder, "I'm supposing all the memories of him haunt you, hm?"
Ciato tenses considerably, feeling Azure's warmth upon his back. He keeps his voice even with force, "...I suppose."
Azure smirks a bit, nuzzling Ciato's neck, "You shouldn't let the past rule you."
Ciato's figure loses the last of its relaxation upon feeling the boy's touch on his neck. "...I don't believe I do."
Azure laughs a bit, "Ah, that's good...but really, you should try to forget..." His hand slides down from Ciato's waist down to the side of his thigh.
Ciato seizes Azure's hand, removing it from his thigh, "I do not want to forget my brother."
Azure smirks, trying to intertwine his seized fingers with Ciato's. "But it's not good to dwell on such things..."
Ciato allows Azure to wind their fingers together, "I don't care..."
"Ah, but you should. What good will thinking about it do you?"
Ciato pulls his hand away from Azure's, "Just forget it. Class is about to start..."
((^^ oh, yes, and Ciato is now a friend, in Azure's mind. He flirts with people to say 'Hey, I wanna be your friend!' and after a while he decides whether or not they'll be his friends ^^* except Mar..he figures he's known him too long))
Azure releases Ciato, licking his lips and leaning back in his chair. He gives a quiet yawn, smoothing his skirt. "If you insist."
Ciato leans back in his chair as well, "I do."
Azure nods to Ciato, "Then I'll respect that. By the way, your hands are very soft."
Ciato says nothing, for the bell rings rather loudly before he can. He merely looks down at his hands as a teacher moves out into the room.
Azure rests his elbows on his desk, and his hands on the tops of his linked hands. He smiles faintly, happy to have a new friend.
Ciato listens to the teacher who begins the class with a dramatic speech. He shifts, putting his book under his desk.
Azure gives a quiet yawn, continuing to lean on his hands and watching the teacher rather blankly.
Ciato's expression still wears a frown, though it is faint. The teacher quiets a few of the more talkative students before starting to pass out information
collection sheets that are required to be given on the first day.
Azure looks rather skeptically at the sheet before him, then gives a small shrug, pulling out a slightly fluffy blue pen.
Ciato reaches slowly into his back, pulling out a rather unique writing utensil. Though it fits his personality. A sleek, black calligraphy pen. With light, curved handwriting he begins to fill out the sheet. Name. Birthdate. Parents Names. Parents Occupations. Like they didn't already have this
information.
Azure writes rather quickly, though his slightly stylized handwriting manages easily to remain legible. He glances over to Ciato for a moment, stopping to watch how the other boy writes.
Ciato, despite the heavy feeling of Azure's eyes upon him, continues to write. Schedule. Hobbies. He continues writing, his pen scratching quietly along the paper.
Azure smiles slightly, "Your handwriting is lovely," he comments quietly before going back to his own sheet.
Ciato stops momentarily, glancing sideways at Azure, "You seem to think most things are," he replies flatly.
Azure laughs, pushing back some of his hair, "My my, have I done something to upset you?"
Ciato does not reply for a moment, finishing up the last of his sheet and placing his pen on the desktop, "Nothing."
Azure still smirks a bit, "Oh? You don't sound very happy.."
Ciato, once again, sets his hands in his lap. "I've been told happiness doesn't suit me."
Azure glances at him for a moment, "And what exactly does suit you?"
Ciato brushes back a white lock of hair from his eyes, "...You tell me."
Azure smiles faintly, looking up at Ciato, "...mm...peacefulness...calm...elegant things, most certainly."
"If you say so." The teacher comes around, beginning to pick up the sheets.
Azure holds up his sheet with one hand, the other quietly tapping its nails on his desktop.
Ciato, also, hands his sheet to the teacher. She smiles at them both, nodding her head in thanks.
Azure flicks back his hair, continuing to watch Ciato without saying anything.
Ciato, feeling slightly uneasy at this point, glances back at Azure. "What are you watching me for?" The comment seems to lack his former grace.
Azure smirks slightly, "Because, I want to. Merely...assessing you, I suppose."
Ciato sighs, "Fine, do as you will." There was no doubt in his mind that Azure would do that no matter what he said.
Azure gives a slight nod, cocking his ever so slightly. He watches Ciato for a few more moments before giving another nod, as though to signify he was done, then turns a bit to look straight ahead again.
The teacher stands in front of them, pacing about for a moment, "As you all know," she begins, "This is theater arts, where we craft actors and bring out the creativity in students. If you are unwilling to participate, you will be penalized. Any questions?" (nice lady. ^^')
Azure watches the teacher silently, not having to worry about refusing to participate...he would do just about anything without hesitation.
Ciato watches the teacher, silent.
Azure twirls a strand of his hair about his finger, glancing over at Ciato for a moment before turning his attention back to the teacher.
Ciato doesn't even glance at Azure. He won't let himself...despite his curiosity.
Azure drums his fingers quietly on the desk, slightly bored by now.
The teacher nods, "I know a few of you may be shy, however, that must be overcome. And that starts today. I would like each of you, when indicated by my instruction, to stand, give your name and tell us a bit about yourself, alright?" A few of the students moan and slump back in their seats. ((did any of your teachers do this to you? -_- They do that to me.))
Azure smirks faintly, formulating exactly what to say to get his desired reaction...
The teacher calls on a few students, most of which are confident, if not to an obnoxious extent. After a while, she calls on Azure...
Azure stands, smiling a bit, "My name is Azure. My parents are completely insane and hate each other. Despite what you may think, I'm not a girl." With that, he sits down, adjusting his skirt.
A few students laugh nervously, though most just stare at him, wide-eyed. The teacher, as well, blinks. Ciato merely sits in silence.
Azure, looking slightly smug and content, says nothing as well, leaning back in his seat.
The teacher, a bit shaken, starts to call on other students.
Azure laughs quietly to himself, once again beginning to twist about a strand of his hair.
Suddenly the door opens and Marrion bounds in, holding up a small yellow slip, "Sorry I'm late," he chirps. Upon seeing Azure, he beams, quickly taking a seat beside his friend. Ciato raises an eyebrow. He didn't care for loud individuals...
Azure smiles a bit at Marrion, nodding a greeting. "What took you?"
Marrion laughs, "I got lost." He shows Azure his slip and hugs his satchel in his lap. Ciato looks Marrion over...what an odd character he appeared to be.
Rivaling Great Expectation's Miss Havisham...
Azure ahs, nodding, "At least you made it here." He turns a bit to glance in
Ciato's direction, "Oh, Marrion, this is my friend Ciato." He indicates the other boy with a fleeting hand gesture.
Ciato blinks, "Friend? Hold on a second.." Marrion smiles, waving at the white-haired youth, "Hihi! I'm Marrion! It's nice to meet you!"
Azure glances over to Ciato once again, "Yes, of course... What else would we be?"
Ciato sighs, "Acquaintances?" Marrion watches them, head tilted to the side.
Azure shakes his head a bit, "We're not merely 'acquaintances' after what happened before class."
Ciato blinks, "What happened before class?" he asks softly as the teacher starts to ask for introductions again.
Azure hms, "Our little talk, and the hug, of course. What many may see as flirting."
Ciato scowls a bit, "That was completely one-sided."
Azure smirks slightly, "That it was."
Ciato crosses his arms, averting his eyes.
Azure laughs, "I was merely inviting you to be my friend. You accepted, to some extent.."
"I did no such thing." Marrion frowns, tapping Azure on the shoulder, "He got a hug?"
Azure turns to look at Marrion, nodding, "Quite..would you like one?"
Marrion nods, "Uh-huh!" Despite the topic of discussion, it is apparent that the boy's meaning is not the least sexual. Ciato watches, a little confused.
Azure hops out of his seat a bit, moving and hugging Marrion. "There you go, Marrion." He returns to his seat.
Marrion beams, looking proud and happy. Once again, he leans forward on his satchel. Ciato blinks again.
Azure leans back in his chair, looking at Ciato for a moment, "Something wrong?"
Ciato shakes his head, "...nothing." The teacher turns to Marrion, calling him to introduce himself. He stands, a broad smile on his face, "I'm Marrion! And I don't make good enough grades to participate in much in this class!" With that, he seats himself. Once again, the majority of the student body blinks. Why would you be proud of that?
Azure gains the thinnest smile, glancing at Marrion for a moment, "Well said, Marrion.."
Marrion smiles, proud of himself...for some odd reason.
Azure glances about the classroom silently, smiling a bit and taking in all the
surprised faces.
After a few more students, Ciato is called on. He stands, head held high, expression plain and vague. He brushes back a long white tress. Marrion watches him, looking from Ciato to Azure.
Azure watches Ciato silently, awaiting his introduction.
